Account and data deletion

BRIEF. offers self‑service account deletion from the mobile app so you stay in control of credentials and data you have shared while using our product (app store guideline 5.1.1).

Delete your account in the app

iOS / Android:open BRIEF. → Settings → Account & billing → Danger zone → Delete account. Confirm the prompt. Doing so deletes your authenticated account with our service providers (sign‑in identifiers, tied profile data handled as part of that account) under our implementation, removes saved brief logs and related app settings from this installation, signs you out, and disconnects monetization linkage for this installation. This action is irreversible.

Subscriptions. If you have an auto‑renewing plan through Apple or Google, cancel it in their subscription management UI if you no longer wish to renew. Deleting your BRIEF. account does not automatically cancel recurring charges already managed by those platforms—follow their prompts.

If you lost access

If you cannot sign in—for example after losing your device—we may need information to prove ownership before we can help. Reach out through contact on hankified.com using the email or phone tied to your account when possible so we can assist.

What else we may retain

The app may temporarily process transcripts on servers when you choose server features such as enrichment. Subject to legal, security, and fraud‑prevention needs, we strive to discard or de‑associate data after account deletion as our systems permit.
